Greetings - I have been playing chess for over 50 years.  My biggest over the board accomplishment was earning my National Master title in 1992. Since retiring as an attorney in 2016 I have devoted much of my time to the San Gabriel Valley Chess Club. We meet  for OTB rated events on Tuesday evenings in the city of Altadena.  You can find more info at sgvchess.club   I also teach an adult  beginner's chess course at Pasadena City College.  More recently I have expanded my teaching by taking on private students and taught a chess course for children and adults through the City of Arcadia Parks and Recreation Division.  I am very appreciative of all the resources Chess.com provides to the chess community and encourage all my students to use them.
