I think this deserves its own dedicated topic because we need to give some more thought to this issue.

In the U1400 Discussion thread I proposed this: "Disqualification in a season results in the club being banned from joining any new ones for a period of 12 months (365 days) from the date of disqualification"

But I was thinking this over last night and while it was fine when we had only the Open event, I don't think it's going to work so well in practice with three separate ones.

Take a team that enters all tournaments (Open, U1400 & U1800) in a 12 month period and receives a single strike in each event - they'll be able to enter any new season that's available.

However, another team taking part in the same events but getting only two strikes in the same one, is going to be given 12 months 'on the bench'.

That doesn't really seem consistent or fair to me. I think I'd rather look at the total of all strikes a team has been given in the past 12 months. Views?
