We are the part of a very well recognized religion known as Hinduism.

Hinduism is a complex religion that originated in India and is practiced by over 900 million people worldwide. It's often referred to as a family of religions because it includes many different theologies, practices, and sacred texts. 

Hinduism is the world's oldest religion, according to many scholars, with roots and customs dating back more than 4,000 years. Today, with more than 1 billion followers, Hinduism is the third-largest religion worldwide.

Origins-

Hinduism is one of the oldest religions in the world, with origins dating back over 5,000 years. Some scholars believe that the Indus Valley civilization (3rd–2nd millennium BCE) was the earliest source of these traditions.  
 
Beliefs-

Hinduism includes a wide range of beliefs, such as the existence of alternate realities, the belief in gurus, and the belief that all religions are essentially correct.  
 
Deities-
Some of the most important deities in Hinduism include Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesha, Krishna, Sarasvati, Durga, and Kali.  
 
Practices-
Hindus worship in a variety of ways, including at home, in a personal shrine, or in a temple. In temples, clergy assist individuals and their families by interceding with the deity through instruction, chants, songs, and prayers.  
 
Name-
The name Hinduism was coined by British writers in the 19th century. The term Hindu was used in some Sanskrit texts and in 16th- to 18th-century Bengali Gaudiya Vaishnava texts.
