Bird's Opening Lovers

This group is strictly for 1.f4. If you play 1.f4 regularly, or if you are interested in new ideas, this is a place to share ideas - with the White pieces, or the Black pieces. I have begun many forums and tournaments with 1.f4, trying to generate some interest in the opening on this site, with decent results so far. All rating levels are interested. Have an awesome win? How about a terrible loss? Maybe a neat trap - bring it on to these pages! Our goal is to simply promote understanding of this misunderstood opening. Many people don't respect it, so they don't think much about it. It still has many questions to be answered, but one thing is for sure - don't disrespect it, or you could be tipping your king pretty quick! :-) I hope to see some people "flying high" soon!
