The Bobby Fischer Random chess club welcomes you. Robert James Fischer is the first and only American World Chess Champion in history. Fischer Random Chess also known as Chess960 is a variant of chess invented and advocated by Bobby Fischer, announced publicly on June 19, 1996, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We are a friendly and competitive club that plays only this popular variation of the game, if you are serious about Chess960 then this is the place for you to be!
